What AI model does QuickPrice use?
QuickPrice uses Google's Gemini multimodal AI, which can process voice, text, images, and video in the same request. This matters because a real site visit is rarely text-only, you're looking at a boiler, pointing at a damaged fence, filming a kitchen layout. Gemini handles all those inputs together and produces a single priced quote.
How accurate is AI-generated pricing?
For standard domestic jobs across the 13 supported UK trade categories, most tradespeople send the AI-generated quote with minimal edits. The AI is less accurate for unusual commercial specs or premium custom work, use the estimate as a starting point in those cases and refine in the review step. The more detail you give the AI, the better the result.
Can the AI quote generator use photos?

Does the AI handle UK-specific things like VAT, regional rates, and Gas Safe details?
Yes. VAT (20% standard, 5% reduced) is applied automatically. Labour rates use your selected UK region. Your certification numbers (Gas Safe, NICEIC, OFTEC, HETAS) appear on every PDF. This is what makes QuickPrice different from generic US AI quoting tools.

Yes. Auto-chase is on by default when you send a quote on Pro. Every morning at 9am UK time the backend emails a polite reminder to any quote the customer hasn't accepted, declined, or let expire. You can turn auto-chase off per quote or stop chasing any quote with one tap.
Will I know when a customer opens my quote?
Yes. When you send a quote, you get a push notification the moment the customer opens the branded client-portal link, and again when they accept or decline. The quote status updates in the app automatically.
