Quoting software
for carpenters.
Your work is bespoke, so your quote shouldn't just say 'fitted wardrobes, £1,800'. Describe the joinery, let the app price the timber and labour, and send an itemised quote that shows the customer exactly what they're getting. They accept from their browser.

The problem
Timber prices move. Your quotes should too.
Carpenters under-quote on timber because prices keep moving. QuickPrice uses current UK sheet-material and timber prices, so your joinery quotes don't leave the margin on the bench.
Every bespoke piece prices differently
Alcove shelving, a custom staircase, fitted wardrobes: every piece is unique. Pricing it accurately on-site without underselling your skill or losing the customer with "I'll send something over" is genuinely difficult.
Timber prices keep moving
Softwood, hardwood, MDF, and sheet materials have all shifted in the last year. Quoting from memory means either your margin takes the hit or the customer does, and you don't find out which until the merchant's invoice arrives.
Customers want to see the detail
A one-line quote doesn't inspire confidence for bespoke work. Customers want to see timber species, labour breakdown, and finish details. Writing that out properly for every job takes an hour you don't have.
How it works
Quote done before
you're back at the van.
Open the app, say what needs doing, hit send. Most quotes are with the customer in about a minute.
01
Talk through the job
Type it, dictate a voice note, snap up to 5 photos, or mix all three. No forms. Just say what needs doing.
02
Get an itemised quote back
Line items in plain English, materials and labour priced on UK data for your region, VAT added. A proper quote, not a rough estimate.
03
Send it. They accept in the browser.
Tweak anything you want, then email a branded PDF. They open it on their phone and accept from there. Your app pings the second they do.
In the app
Every carpenter quote, in one place.
Pipeline, quotes and follow-ups, exactly as they look in the QuickPrice app on your phone.

Features
What's in it for carpenters
A native phone app for quoting on-site. Same data on the web dashboard when you're back at the desk.
Current UK timber pricing built in
Softwood, hardwood, MDF, plywood, birch ply, OSB: the app tracks current UK prices. Describe your material spec and it's priced. No ringing the merchant before you can quote.
Professional descriptions written for you
Tell the app what you're making. It writes "Bespoke oak alcove shelving with painted MDF boxing, three adjustable shelves, concealed fixings", clearer than most carpenters would write themselves.
Fixed-price or day-rate, your choice
Itemised fixed-price for standard fitting work, day-rate plus materials for complex commissions. Both formats are supported. Choose what suits the job and the customer.
Quote to acceptance to invoice
Send the quote. Customer accepts from their browser. When the job's done, convert it to a branded invoice in one tap. Track paid and unpaid from the same app.

Testimonial
What tradespeople say
“I was always the one who'd "send something over later". Now I quote on-site. The app writes a better description of the work than I would. Customer accepted the last three quotes from her phone same day. Converted all three to invoices from the app when the jobs were done. Haven't under-quoted on materials once.”

FAQ
Things people ask
Quick answers on accuracy, pricing, your data, and what happens after you send a quote.
How does it handle bespoke joinery pricing?
Describe dimensions, material, finish, and complexity. The quoting software estimates material costs and labour. For standard bespoke items (alcove shelving, fitted furniture, staircase work) it's strong. For unusual commissions, use the estimate as a starting point and adjust in the review step.
Can I specify timber species and grade?
Yes. Mention 'oak, prime grade, pre-finished' in the job description and it appears clearly in the line items. Useful for clients who care about material quality.
Does it do labour-only kitchen fitting quotes?
Yes. Quote labour-only for customer-supplied kitchens or supply-and-fit. Describe the scope and whether materials are included. The carpentry estimating software handles both.
What happens when the customer accepts?
They click 'Accept' in their browser, no app needed. You get an email notification and the status updates in your app. Convert accepted quotes to invoices with one tap when the job's done.
How current is the sheet material pricing?
Regularly updated with UK prices for MDF, birch ply, OSB, and melamine-faced board. If your supplier price is better or you're using a premium material, adjust the line item before sending.
