Quoting software
for roofers.
You can't type a quote from a ladder. Talk through the job by voice, photograph the damage, and have a branded quote in the customer's inbox before you've loaded the van. They accept from their browser. You invoice when the job's done.

The problem
Weather windows don't wait for paperwork
Roofers lose work because the paperwork can't keep up with the weather. Voice notes and a few photos of the roof in, priced quote out, sent before the rain comes in.
You've seen the roof, now you need to write it up
You've assessed the damage from up top, but quoting means getting back down, finding a notepad, and typing it all up tonight. By then the details are fuzzy and the customer's already called someone else.
Tile quantities are awkward mental maths
Tiles per square metre, ridge length, underlay rolls, battens per row. The arithmetic for a re-roof takes time even if you know the roof inside out. Get it wrong and either your margin or the job disappears.
Weather windows don't wait for paperwork
You've got a dry spell next week and three quotes to send. If the admin takes until Thursday, you've lost the weather window and the customer. Roofing quotes need to go out fast.
How it works
Quote done before
you're back at the van.
Open the app, say what needs doing, hit send. Most quotes are with the customer in about a minute.
01
Talk through the job
Type it, dictate a voice note, snap up to 5 photos, or mix all three. No forms. Just say what needs doing.
02
Get an itemised quote back
Line items in plain English, materials and labour priced on UK data for your region, VAT added. A proper quote, not a rough estimate.
03
Send it. They accept in the browser.
Tweak anything you want, then email a branded PDF. They open it on their phone and accept from there. Your app pings the second they do.
In the app

Features
What's in it for roofers
A native phone app for quoting on-site. Same data on the web dashboard when you're back at the desk.
Tiles, battens, underlay: calculated for you
Give the roof type, pitch, and approximate area. The app calculates tile or slate quantities, underlay, battens, ridge tiles, hip tiles, lead flashing, and wastage.
Voice quoting: talk through the job
"Strip and re-tile a 45-degree pitched semi, about 70 square metres, concrete interlocking tiles." Tap the mic, say that, and the quote builds itself. Works while you're still on the scaffold.
Photo the damage, get the quote
Snap storm damage, missing slates, or failed flashings. The app identifies the work needed and builds the materials list. Particularly useful for insurance claims where detail matters.
Customer accepts, then you invoice
Send the quote. Customer views it in their browser and accepts. You get an email notification. Convert to invoice when the job's done, branded PDF, sent from the app.

Testimonial
What tradespeople say
“I dictated a re-roof quote while I was still on the ladder. Voice input, described what I could see, back down and it was ready to send. Customer accepted it from her phone that afternoon. For storm damage jobs I photograph the roof and the app picks up most of what needs doing. Invoiced the last job straight from the app.”

FAQ
Things people ask
Quick answers on accuracy, pricing, your data, and what happens after you send a quote.
Can I quote from photos of roof damage?
Yes. Take up to 5 photos: missing slates, failed lead, cracked ridge tiles, deteriorated membrane. The quoting software analyses the damage, estimates materials, and builds the quote. Edit anything in the review step.
How does the roofing estimating software calculate tile quantities?
Give the roof area (or pitch and dimensions) and tile type. The app calculates quantity including wastage, plus battens, underlay, ridge/hip tiles. For re-roofs it includes stripping and disposal. Adjust if you have measured figures.
Does it handle flat roofing?
Yes. EPDM, GRP fibreglass, felt, and torch-on. Describe area, access, upstand heights, and drainage needs. The app builds the materials and labour quote.
What about scaffolding costs?
Add scaffolding as a line item, either as a fixed allowance or estimated hire period. Note whether it's included in your price or quoted separately by your scaffold contractor.
Is it useful for insurance claim work?
Very. The itemised format describes each element of damage and repair. Several roofers use it specifically for insurance jobs because the detail helps customers submit claims and gives loss adjusters what they need.
