QuickPrice or Tradify?
Depends what you need.
Short version. Pick QuickPrice if quoting is the bit of your day you want faster, with UK pricing built in and the AI learning how you write. Pick Tradify if you also need to schedule a team, track timesheets, and run jobs through one platform. They both quote. They don't both do everything.
Quick read
Which one fits you.
Quoting is what's slowing you down.
- You quote 10 to 80 jobs a month and want each one done in a minute, not in twenty.
- You're a sole trader or small firm, and whoever quotes is also on the tools.
- You want UK pricing data built in, not configured by you.
- You want the AI to learn how you quote and match it.
You need a full ops platform, not just quoting.
- You schedule a few engineers across the week and need a shared calendar.
- Your team clocks time against jobs and you reconcile the labour cost later.
- You run supplier purchase orders and want them tied to job records.
- Live Xero or QuickBooks sync is a hard requirement today.
Where QuickPrice is different
Three things Tradify doesn't do.
Voice, photo, and video on the job
Tradify quoting is catalogue-based. You build your price list once, then pick line items per job. QuickPrice skips that. Tap the mic and talk through the job, snap up to five photos, or film a walkthrough. The AI works out the line items, the prices, and the totals. No catalogue to set up, no forms, no laptop.
UK pricing built in, by region
QuickPrice ships with current material costs from suppliers like Travis Perkins, plus regional labour rates across 12 UK regions. London rates aren't Yorkshire rates. Tradify is a global product, so you set your own rates or import them.
Quote DNA: trained on your quotes
Upload up to five quotes you've already sent. QuickPrice picks up your prices, your tone, how you lay things out, and the items you always include. New quotes come out reading like yours. Tradify doesn't do this. Nobody else does either.
Where Tradify is stronger
Three things QuickPrice can't do yet.
If you need these today, Tradify (or Jobber, or ServiceM8) is the better call until QuickPrice ships its team and ops features.
Team scheduling
Multi-engineer calendars, drag-and-drop assignment, route planning. Tradify has done this for years. It's on the QuickPrice roadmap, but it isn't shipped.
Timesheets
Tradify lets engineers clock on and off jobs and reconciles the actual labour cost against what you quoted. QuickPrice doesn't track time after the quote. The workflow ends at the invoice.
Accounting sync
Xero and QuickBooks integrations are mature on Tradify. QuickPrice has them on the roadmap. Until they ship, exporting PDFs by hand is the workaround.

Moving over from Tradify
Bring your clients. Bring your quoting voice.
Export your client list from Tradify as a CSV and drop it into QuickPrice. Take five of the quotes you've already sent through Tradify and upload them to Quote DNA. The AI reads them and picks up how you price and how you write. The first quote you generate on QuickPrice already reads like the ones you were sending before. Most people are up and running inside an hour.
FAQ
Things people ask
Is QuickPrice a straight swap for Tradify?
For quoting, mostly. QuickPrice was built around quoting on-site from a phone. Talk it through, snap a photo, or type it out, and the AI writes the quote, prices it on UK rates, brands it, and the customer accepts it in their browser. Tradify is a bigger job management platform. It does scheduling, timesheets, and ongoing job tracking on top of quoting. If most of your day is quoting and you want that faster, QuickPrice is the closer fit. If you also need to run a team and track them through jobs, Tradify covers more.
Why would I pick QuickPrice over Tradify?
A few things. The pricing data is UK-specific, with regional labour rates across 12 UK regions and live material costs, calibrated for here rather than averaged across markets. The input is AI: you describe the job by voice, photo, or video instead of building a catalogue and picking line items off it. And Quote DNA reads your old quotes, so new ones come out reading like yours instead of a generic template.
Why would I pick Tradify over QuickPrice?
If you run more than one engineer, schedule them across the week, and need timesheet tracking against jobs, Tradify does all of that and QuickPrice doesn't yet. Same goes for supplier purchase orders and Xero/QuickBooks sync. Tradify's had those for years. QuickPrice has them on the roadmap. If you need that sort of platform, look at Tradify alongside ServiceM8 and Jobber too.
Can I get a quote done in under a minute with Tradify?
Tradify quoting is form-based. You build a catalogue of your line items, then pick from it for each job. That's quick once the catalogue is built, slower on the first few. QuickPrice skips the catalogue. You describe the job, the AI writes the line items, prices materials and labour, adds VAT, and you've got a branded PDF in about a minute. Usually before you're back at the van.
Does QuickPrice sync with Xero or QuickBooks?
Not yet, but it's on the roadmap. If accounting sync is non-negotiable today, Tradify has it. If you can live with exporting PDFs by hand for now, QuickPrice's branded PDF flow is quick enough to tide you over until the integration ships.
What does it cost compared to Tradify?
QuickPrice has a free tier with 3 AI quotes a month, and paid plans from £8.99/mo (inc. VAT). Pro is £14.99/mo with a 14-day trial. Tradify is priced per user per month, so check their site for current rates. For a solo trader, QuickPrice works out cheaper. For a firm with 3-5 users, run the per-user vs flat-rate maths on your actual headcount.
Can I move from Tradify to QuickPrice without losing my client list?
Yes. Export your clients from Tradify as a CSV and import them straight into QuickPrice. Then take five of the quotes you sent through Tradify, upload them to Quote DNA, and the AI learns how you write. Your QuickPrice quotes come out reading like the ones you were already sending. Most solo traders are up and running in under an hour.
Where is QuickPrice built?
Bristol. The company is Hanse Media LTD, registered in England and Wales (number 14102201). The pricing data, labour rates, and feature set are built for the UK market, not retrofitted from a global product.
