QuickPrice or Jobber?
Depends what you need.

Short version. Pick QuickPrice if quoting is the bit of your day you want faster, with UK pricing built in and the AI learning how you write. Pick Jobber if you also need to schedule a crew, take card payments, and run a full field-service platform. They both quote. Past that they do different jobs.

Free plan, no card needed. Pro's 14-day trial starts in the app.

Quick read

Which one fits you.

Pick QuickPrice if

Quoting is the thing slowing you down.

  • You quote 10 to 80 jobs a month and want each one done in a minute, not twenty.
  • You're a sole trader or small firm, and the person quoting is the same person on the tools.
  • You want UK pricing data ready to go, not rates you set up yourself.
  • You want the AI to learn how you quote and copy it.
Pick Jobber if

You need a full field-service platform.

  • You schedule and dispatch a crew across the week and need a shared calendar.
  • You want a client hub and online booking, so customers can book themselves in.
  • You want to take card payments in the same place you quote and invoice from.
  • A mature accounting sync and a big integration ecosystem matter to you right now.

Where QuickPrice is different

Three things Jobber doesn't do.

Voice, photo, and video on the job

Jobber quoting is template and line-item based. You set up your services once, then build each quote from them. QuickPrice skips that. Tap the mic and talk through the job, snap up to five photos, or film a walkthrough. The AI works out the line items, prices, and totals. No catalogue to set up, no forms to fill, no laptop.

UK pricing built in, by region

QuickPrice comes with live UK material costs and regional labour rates across 12 UK regions. London rates aren't Yorkshire rates. Jobber is a global product, so you set your own rates rather than start from UK data built for here.

Quote DNA: trained on your quotes

Upload up to five quotes you've already sent. QuickPrice picks up your prices, your tone, how you lay things out, and the items you always include. New quotes come out reading like yours. Jobber Copilot helps with admin, but it doesn't learn your quoting style and reproduce it like this.

Where Jobber is stronger

Three things QuickPrice can't do yet.

Need these today? Jobber (or ServiceM8, or Tradify) is probably the better call until QuickPrice ships its team and ops features.

Scheduling and dispatch

Multi-crew calendars, drag-and-drop assignment, a client hub and online booking. Jobber is built around running a calendar for a service business. It's on the QuickPrice roadmap, but it isn't shipped yet.

Built-in card payments

Jobber Payments lets you take card payment inside the same tool you quote and invoice from. QuickPrice's flow stops at the branded invoice for now. Built-in payment processing is on the roadmap.

Integrations and accounting sync

Jobber has mature QuickBooks and Xero sync, plus a large app marketplace. QuickPrice has accounting sync on the roadmap. Until it ships, you export PDFs by hand.

Moving over from Jobber

Bring your clients. Bring your quoting voice.

Export your client list from Jobber as a CSV and drop it into QuickPrice. Take five of the quotes you've already sent through Jobber and upload them to Quote DNA. The AI reads them, picks up how you price and how you write, and the first quote you make on QuickPrice already reads like the ones you were sending before. Most people are up and running inside an hour.

FAQ

Things people ask

Is QuickPrice a straight swap for Jobber?

For the quoting side, mostly. QuickPrice was built around quoting on-site from a phone. Talk it through, photograph it, or describe it, and the AI writes the quote, prices it on UK rates, brands it, and the customer accepts it in their browser. Jobber is a wider field-service platform. It does scheduling, dispatch, a client hub, online booking, and payments on top of quoting. If most of your day is quoting and you want that faster, QuickPrice is the closer fit. If you also need to run a calendar for a crew and take card payments through one tool, Jobber covers more.

Why would I pick QuickPrice over Jobber?

A few things. The pricing data is UK-specific: regional labour rates across 12 UK regions and live UK material costs, built for here rather than a global average. The input is AI. You describe the job by voice, photo, or video and it prices it, rather than picking line items off a quote template you built first. And Quote DNA reads your old quotes, so new ones come out reading like yours, not a generic layout.

Isn't Jobber Copilot the same as QuickPrice's AI?

Not quite, and it's worth being clear about. Jobber Copilot is an AI assistant that helps with admin, drafting, and answering questions about your account. It's useful, but Jobber's core quoting is still line-item and quote-template based. QuickPrice's AI does the pricing itself. You describe the job and it works out the line items, materials, labour, and VAT. Two different jobs for the AI to do.

Why would I pick Jobber over QuickPrice?

If you run a crew and live in a calendar, Jobber does scheduling and dispatch, a client hub with online booking, and built-in card payments through Jobber Payments. It also has a mature accounting sync and a big integration marketplace. QuickPrice doesn't do most of that yet. For a multi-crew service business that books, schedules, and collects payment in one place, Jobber is built for the job and QuickPrice isn't.

Can I get a quote done in under a minute with Jobber?

Jobber quoting is template and line-item based. You set up your services and rates, then build each quote from them. Tidy once it's set up, slower at the start. QuickPrice skips the catalogue altogether. You describe the job, the AI writes the line items, prices materials and labour on UK rates, and adds VAT. You've got a branded PDF in about a minute, usually before you're back at the van.

What does it cost compared to Jobber?

QuickPrice has a free tier with 3 AI quotes a month, and paid plans from £8.99/mo (inc. VAT). Pro is £14.99/mo with a 14-day trial. Jobber has a free trial but no permanent free plan. Its tiered pricing (Core, Connect, Grow, Plus) tends to sit higher for a solo trader. Check their site for current rates, since tiers and prices change. For a sole trader, QuickPrice usually works out cheaper.

Can I move from Jobber to QuickPrice without losing my client list?

Yes. Export your clients from Jobber as a CSV and import them straight into QuickPrice. Then take five of the quotes you sent through Jobber and upload them to Quote DNA. The AI learns how you write, so your QuickPrice quotes come out reading like the ones you were already sending. Most solo traders are up and running in under an hour.
